Playback help on TV360

Hello all!

I recently upgraded my V6 to TV360, & overall I'm impressed & happy with it.

However, I have one annoying issue. When playing back a recording, it often begins after the programme has already started. It’s not that the programme started early or the timer activated late, because if I rewind, the beginning is actually there on the recording. Other times, it starts playing a minute before the programme begins. There appears to be no rhyme or reason!

Can this "feature" be turned off?

  • The 360 recordings work on the EPG start and finish times so if a program starts late it might miss the end, there's no intelligence in the box to shift the recording times.

If you are talking about series links of programmes that are broadcast one after the other then the EPG schedule and recordings can overlap.

The 'feature' can't be turned off, however you can set it up so that all recordings have extra time added before and after if you want.

When pressing red to set a recording, scroll down and select Advanced Options on the screen that opens. You will then see a set of options where you can fine tune the recordings start and end times.  For example you can set the start time to begin  either 15 or 30 seconds before the start, or 1 minute, 2,5 or 10 minutes before the start.  You can also change the peramaters for the ending of the recordings by an extra 1,2,5,15 or 30 minutes, or an extra 1,2 or 3 hours.
