Program recordings cut short

Have you tried going to Recordings settings and setting the default extra time at the end to 15 minutes or longer incase the programs have overrun. If it's only specific programs or channels you can also use the Advanced options when setting a recording.

Technology has gone backwards. My 20 year old freeview recorder is able to adjust for when programmes start and finish,  even if they are delayed/extended. Seems cable and satellite recorders still can't do that.
