Solid red on my hub

Well I've had a solid red light on my hub for the last 4 days now . After several attempts  to clear the light/ problems  following  the on line instructions  turn on/off, unplug/plug in all that simple stuff I've done all but reach for a sledge hamm...

No virgin media wall socket

I have ordered for Virgin media internet connection, got isolator cable, hub and adapter but there is no Virgin media wall socket in the house I moved into recently. How do I get this wall socket to complete installation?
