Hi,
Recently one of my 2 TiVo boxes has started having recording issues. There is plenty of room on the hard drive. When we play back something it’s all pixelated and laggy. Only recordings in the last few weeks do this.
Older recordings work fine.
Any advice?

You've not mentioned any issues with live TV so I presume that's OK. Try pausing live TV and watch it slightly delayed - this is also a recording which uses your hard drive.
If this also breaks up, you've got a failing HDD on your hands. Report it by the usual means, get a tech visit and the TiVo is swapped for a V6. Much newer, much quicker, same software - assuming you have VM home broadband.
