Since renewing my contract 2 weeks ago I can no longer access the TV Control app and I can’t find a solution on previous posts

I have deleted the app and reinstalled 

‘No valid TV Control account found

You have signed in successfully, but no valid TV account can be found. This may be because your account has not been set yet, or your account may have been suspended.’

same problem, renewed virgin contract in last couple of weeks. opted not to get 360 box as did not want to lose all recordings.  now my phone TV Control app does not work on my Nokia x20 phone

Me too. Renewed my contract recently and got this message when I tried to use the TV Control app. I've reinstalled the app, but no luck.

Just to confirm, are you using your My Virgin Media primary sign-in details? Also, have you tried resetting the password to see whether that makes any difference?

Yes, using the same details I have used for 20 years or so for My Virgin Media

No I haven't changed it but others have and makes no difference
