Stream Box “Error CS1011”

Hi. I received my Stream box today and have been eager to use it. 

On first power up I connected it to the internet using the WPS button on my router. The box thought for a bit then threw up the “Error CS1011”. I’ve done the usual power off power one wait etc etc to the hub and the stream box and nothing. Various webchat that don’t go anywhere so I’m already ready to throw it in the bin……hahaha! 

I also tried to logon to ‘Virgin TV Go’ app and I can’t sign into that at all, says my account has been deactivated 🤷🏻‍♂️

 

I can sign into ‘my virginmedia’ to check my bills etc so my account definitely isn’t dead. 

please please can anyone suggest something else I can try ?

All sorted, helpful chap activated the box and it’s all working 👌🏻
