I received an email on 13th August to say my switch to o2 cannot happen automatically because I am abroad, I would loose service 5 days later on my current virgin SIM and a new o2 SIM would be sent to my UK address. So far no o2 SIM card has arrived at this address but my current SIM is still working. Will Virgin deactivate my current SIM while I am abroad?
I have family in the UK who can activate the new o2 SIM for me and send over - can the new SIM be activated ONLY AFTER the current SIM has stopped working?
