I have been a Virgin Media customer for 6 years and on 08Aug 2023 was offered and I accepted a new 18m Ultimate Volt Package. I received both the Pre Contract email plus a subsequent Service Change Receipt. I also spoke three times to Retentions who confirmed my new contract was in place. On 11Au23, a Direct Debit notification was sent at almost three times the agreed price. Phone calls to Retentions resulted in me getting disconnected three times. I also have a Virgin Media acknowledged claim which has not been dealt with for over 8 weeks. Furthermore three promises for a Senior Manager to call me have been broken. I welcome the Ofcom enquiry and will be terminating my agreement as no other option existing and contacting the Ombudsman.
