Netflix charging erroneously

MurphynBrown
Tuning in

Hi.

My sister used her netflix account at my mother's house sometime in 2022. Since January 2023 my mother has been charged for her own account which she has never opened. It has taken until now to find out that the account is in the same email as my sister's but with an additional m character at the end .....this is wholly incorrect. Netflix have admitted that there has been no activity ever on the account but both Netflix and Virgin are saying it's the responsibility of the other to cancel. She is now owed over 12 months payments and is becoming increasingly distressed, especially after having a stroke last year.

Can you please advise on how to resolve this immediately.

Regards

Hi @MurphynBrown thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

Sorry to hear that your mum is being incorrectly charged for a service she did not subscribe to. I would like to take a closer look on your behalf.  I am going to send you a private message.  Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right of your screen.
