Yesterday, November 3rd, I received an SMS from Virgin media saying “remember, you need to plug your adapters into the Virgin Media hub tomorrow”. I duly did this the next morning, and only after some confusion read the rest of the message, which said “…tomorrow November 6th”. One has to feel sympathy for those working for this company, (read Nicholas Lezard's thoughts in last week's Spectator about a company he refers to as “Not Yet Had Sex Media), but it would be better if they could avoid sending messages on November 3rd referring to November 6th as tomorrow.
