Password for Blueyonder email

I have been advised that my blueyonder email account details have been found online and it is suggested that I change the password.

I am unable to do so. I have set up a VM app account using a Gmail account. When I use this, it does not show the two blueyonder addresses that I have had for years. It only shows my virginmedia email accounts.

When I attempted to explain this to a support person, he said that he had changed my BY password and told me what he set it to. However, I am still able to download my emails into Outlook using my old password so the BY account is still working with my own password. This was the original email address that was used when I opened an account. Previously, I understood that it had to remain as all other email addresses link to that.

I have tried to create a VM app account using the BY email but the system states that I already have an account, yet using that does not show the BY address at all.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

Each email address now has its own My VM account

Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.  Sign out of your other My VM account and then sign in as follows.

Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Account Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

As part of this process you are likely to be asked to change the username for the blueyonder email address to a third party email address.  This does not change the blueyonder address just the way you sign into it.
