Deleting emails makes no difference to storage

My blueyonder email is slowly filling up, and even though it's not at a critical point yet I have deleted a massive amount of emails, emptied the trash and it makes absolutely no difference to the amount of storage used. How do I get this space back??

Try pressing Ctrl + Shift + R to bypass browser cache on reload to see if issue persists.
