Delete old virgin.net email address

I really hope someone can help me on this forum as I had no luck when I tried calling virgin media.

I cannot access my virgin.net email address anymore and unable to reset password. 

The issue I have is that this email address is still active so any accounts that I have associated with this email address will send a OTP request to this email that I can't access.

I don't have a virgin media account and this email address was set up about 30 years ago. I need someone to please help me with this .
