Can’t use email, message no password provided

Hi 

wonder if any body can help, my emails have worked no problem right up to today. Went to send email  get message ‘’no password provided for blueyonder.co.uk’’. 
please go to mail account settings and enter a password. Haven’t changed any settings whatsoever  my wife on the same blueyonder account no problems at all. After trying for 4 hours I deleted my account and tried to add my email again. Put in correct password same problem. Do I change the password on the servers. I don’t know how can get advice trying to speak to someone at virgin is a nightmare. Not the greatest at technology. No idea why this has happened. Any help would be appreciated.
