Moral of the story : Regularly check your (and your seniors') bills and haggle/cancel as required. 

I'm not a Very Insightful Person (just a little bit, sometimes). I don't work for Virgin Media (but then nor do any of the offshore customer service agents).

Yep, I would have been as £75.07 for 500mbps post contract, which is a few quid over the published out of contract price. You figure? No intention of paying that ridiculous price and after run around from offshore retentions I left. Normally a deal is done. 1gbps last time was £32 (VOLTED from 500mbps).

Meanwhile BT/others on FTTP offers around £30-£32 for 500mbps and YouFibre is £29.99 for 1gig down and 1 gig up!

Top
