TV Go Sub-Account Issue
I’m having the same issue that everyone seems to have been having for 6-7 years, maybe more. Whenever I try to log in to TV Go on iPhone, it says that I can’t use sub accounts. I managed to get to a ‘not a robot’ picture picking screen, but then still got the sub-accounts message. I haven’t used TV Go for quite a long time, and I think this issue is the reason I stopped originally. I’d like to be able to use it now, but if it’s not possible, can I have some money off my bill instead?18Views0likes1CommentVirgin TV Go - Only Available at Home
This same problem has just started happening to me today when it was working fine 48 hrs ago. I've got all the info above but whenever I try to private message ModTeam it gives error message Correct the highlighted errors and try again. Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and send the message when you are satisfied. There is no HTML in my message and no highlighted errors, whenever I try to send it just keeps popping up with the above. Please advise how to send my diagnostic information and get Virgin TV Go working again to watch recordings. Is you set top box turned on when attempting this - YES, I'm currently watching it to be sure 🙂 What set top box do you have (e.g. 360, V6, Stream) - V360 Please make sure the Standby power is set to either Active or Fast Start – TVGo does not connect if the box is in Eco mode. - YES, it's on Fast Start Please go to the TVGo App / Settings / Diagnostics and send us a copy of what is listed - TRYING TO, see problem above. DEVICE 1 iPad & DEVICE 2 iPhone - neither working any more. This worked fine within the last 48 hrs ( I upgraded to V360 a week ago and it's been working ok since then).1.4KViews0likes6CommentsTV Go – “Only available at home”
I’d like to use the Virgin TV Go app to watch my recordings when I’m not at home. I thought this was the whole point of it - “on the go”. Unfortunately this doesn’t work. It only works when I’m on my home network! Surely this is not intended behaviour? I feel it should be able to work over another WiFi or even 5G when away from home (assuming my V6 box is on?). Is anyone else experiencing this and is anyone aware of a fix? I’m using the latest version of the app on the latest iOS on the latest iPhone 15 Pro. I have tried this with different recordings from BBC, Sky etc.3.7KViews0likes9CommentsVTGo app makes me re register device
Hi, I am having an issue where I need to register my device every time I open the app. Once registered I can watch what I want until I close the app. i have not cleared my cache or my cookies, that I am aware off. But I have got a new phone and since I have got the phone it has made me register it 3 times. It shows up on the list as a registered device but will not allow me to watch anything because I have ran out of swaps for the month. i have seen other topics where a virgin media staff member has offered to refresh the swaps, this is not a fix and unless they are willing to give unlimited swaps until the problem is fully resolved this is not an option. I just want to watch tv on my phone on my device that IS REGISTERED, what is so hard about that ?! i have re registered my iPhone 15 pro 3 times now and I cannot do it again until May meaning I cannot use the app. It’s a joke and I have noticed that there is multiple cases of this problem and nothing seems to be getting done to resolve the issue. details below: Build: 5.07.8308+10881 Device: iPhone16,2 OS: iOS 17.4.1 Video Player: Unknown Conviva: 4.0.41 Connection Type: WiFi - (N/A) Customer HH: 108809477_gb Mqtt Broker Status: CONNECTED Device IP: 192.168.1.82 OV: 4.2.33 OV Engine State: AUTH_FAILURE OV Device Name: DE27ACDA-916E-43EF-B6B9-D92C182E198C OV Power Status: OKAY OV Network Status: OKAY OV Disk Status: OKAY OV Download Enabled: true iPhone 15 pro max iOS 17.4.1 Latest build of the VTVGo app Assistance would be appreciated thanks697Views0likes3CommentsTvgo app wont play recordings
For the last couple of months the TV Go app has not played recordings. It did use to, I'm not aware of any changes to my home set up or mobile since it last worked. I can control the TV, set recordings, delete recordings, but it when i try play a recording it loops for about 10 seconds then says I'm not on the same network. I've searched the forums, seen lots of people with similar issues over last year or two, bit never spotted a resolution.1.5KViews1like11CommentsCan I watch online via virgintvgo.virginmedia.com in HD?
Windows 10 laptop user here. There is no longer a Windows app so I'm forced to watch via a web browser but the picture is soft, certainly not HD, and there are no quality settings that I can find. Does the browser service support HD? If not, can anyone tell me what is the maximum resolution that it does support? Thanks! Edit: I should add that my network speeds are good; ~300Mbps. YouTube streams in 4k nicely.1.1KViews0likes5Comments
