Sky Sports App Pin

I registered as new Virgin Media customer recently and have the TV sports package.

When I try to log into the Sky Sports app on my iPad using my VM credentials, I am asked to create a pin for Sky guidance read content. However, once I create a pin and click “continue” I keep getting a message saying “We can’t set your PIN up right now. Please try again later”.

Has anyone seen this or has any solutions? Is it a recent issue?

    Sorry to hear of the issues regarding accessing the Sky Sports app via you iPad, we appreciate you raising this with us via the forums and welcome to the community.

    Can you confirm if you're trying this via a browser on the device? If so, can you try by a different browser to see if the same error comes up? Also make sure any VPN's are temporarily disconnected when trying this process.

      Hello - thanks for responding. The issue isn't just on the Sky Sports app on the iPad. It is the same message when I try to log into Sky Sports using VM credentials on any device. I've tried various devices (Macbook Pro, Windows Laptop) and different browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari). I also don't have any VPNs.

      Attached is a snip of the error message that I get on Sky Sports after I provide my VM username and password, and then try to create a PIN as prompted.

      Any other suggestions or solutions?

    Any further suggestions/solutions?

      Thanks for getting back to me Vizzz and for the requested information. Can you sign into your MyVM account? If so, please go to Account Settings - Sky Devices and there should be an option in there for PIN to change, create or get a reminder sent for the PIN.

  • Hello Robert_P. Thanks for the message. I’m afraid I can’t log on to my MyVM account settings. When I try to log into MyVM I get the attached error messages.

    May be an issue with how my account has been set up as the same error messages appear even when I try to log on from different browsers and My Virgin Media app.

    Can this task be done by VM remotely - ie address the Sky pin issue remotely on my account settings?
