How do I turn off the subtitles on TVGo so that they stay off. Despite them being off in the settings, every time I change channel they turn on again. Sometimes I turn them off and then they turn on again when one programme ends and another starts on the same channel.
To say its annoying is an understatement.
I have deleted the app and cleared out any settings on the iPad, but it still does it when I re-install the app.
Do you have subtitles turned on on your actual 360 box(es)?
On your 360 check under Settings > Accessibility > Subtitle options
I would also double check under Settings > Audio & Subtitles on ALL devices that have access to TVGo just in case the actual subtitles setting is turned on under even one of them.
I note that you say you've "deleted the app and cleared out any settings on the iPad, but it still does it when I re-install the app". I suggest clearing out the settings/storage cache on the device(s) before uninstalling the app. Then reboot the device before you download and install the app again.
