No Recording
I’ve recently moved home taking Virgin with me but the new TV hardware I’ve been given is awful. I used to have a proper box with a cable connection and a hard disk that could record. Now I have these little streaming boxes that are really slow and laggy and can’t record. Really disappointing. Is this the way Virgin TV is going? It’s just a streaming service.638Views0likes7CommentsVM 150 help service
Is now totally useless- took me 5 attempts to get the service to pick up- once you connect it tells you I’ll now transfer you to a member of team - no it doesn’t - asks for your mobile number so they can send you a text to the useless web site to fix your problems - only, you don’t get a text. They ask for the preferred mobile number again- you type it in again! And then the robot tells you , sorry we aren’t able to send you a text - goodbye !! Utterly useless and pointless. I’m off to BT once my contract is out.207Views4likes7CommentsPlayback help on TV360
Hello all! I recently upgraded my V6 to TV360, & overall I'm impressed & happy with it. However, I have one annoying issue. When playing back a recording, it often begins after the programme has already started. It’s not that the programme started early or the timer activated late, because if I rewind, the beginning is actually there on the recording. Other times, it starts playing a minute before the programme begins. There appears to be no rhyme or reason! Can this "feature" be turned off?63Views0likes2CommentsActivation
Hey, Why does it take so long for Virgin Media to update your TV and Broadband when you upgrade? For example, I upgraded my broadband, and that took 7 days before I received the speed that I ordered, and now I've just upgraded the TV, and that's taking 15 days. Why is this?91Views0likes5CommentsTV 360 Box not starting up
Hello, Hope someone can help. My Virgin TV 360 box is not starting up properly. The light on the power button remains on Amber. When turning off at the mains for more than 10 minutes, the TV seems to be turning back on an goes to the welcome start up screen with all welcome in all the languages, but then goes black and the problem remains. I have also tried restarting our virgin WiFi, which had no effect. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you17KViews0likes8CommentsTV and broadband not working
Hi, So I moved into my new house on Friday. I connected everything up and it seemed to work fine, but today nothing is working. I know they said today would be the day they would disconnect my old account and activate my new account, so is that what is happening or is it a different problem? I have little white flashing arrows on my box and no WiFi. Please help!!52Views0likes1CommentNoisy v6 box
Hi there. I upgraded to tv360 a few weeks ago and since then my v6 box has been unbelievably loud. ( fans spinning ) to the point where I'm having to crank the volume up on the tv rather loud to dround out the whining noise of the fans. It's quite irritating when trying to watch something. I did not have this issue before the upgrade to TV 360. Anyone else have this issue? Are they supposed to be this loud? Or is it a faulty box since the upgrade? Tried restarting / hard reset still the same issue. Any help would be appreciated it's driving me crazy!878Views0likes2Comments‘No Signal’ after TV box Welcome Screen
Turn TV box on, as normal. I get the ‘Welcome’ screen, as normal. ’Welcome’ screen disappears, as normal. Moments later, TV throws-up a ‘No signal’ error. There must have been signal to get the ‘Welcome’ screen, so not a cabling issue. Other devices working fine on WiFi, so don’t think it’s that. Have restarted the TV and box multiple times. No change! What do?3KViews0likes3Comments360 box - audio sometimes drops out from sound bar (HDMI ARC)
I have a Hisense TV, Samsung HW-Q60T sound bar and new Virgin 360 box. All works well but occasionally (like 2 or 3 times during the evening) the sound switches from coming out of my sound bar and reverts to coming out of my TV speakers (with a message on my screen saying ARC device has been disconnected). If I switch the sound bar OFF and then switch it back ON again then all is ok again and audio comes out of my sound bar (at least for a while, anyway). This didn't happen when I had the Tivo box and has only just started doing this since getting the new 360 box. I have not changed the way the 3 units are connected together with cables, that is still the same: TV to sound bar using HDMI ARC to HDMI ARC sockets. TV to Virgin 360 box using HDMI to HDMI sockets. I'm not very savvy when it comes to this new way of connecting various devices together but conclude that it must be some software issue or a settings issue but have tried various settings and nothing seems to make any difference. The sound still drops out now and again. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?2.2KViews0likes6Comments
