Wifi keeps disconnecting when downloading at high speeds
So, just got a new router installed with wifi 6, the speeds are amazing, but whenever i have a download speed above 50mb/s the connection to my pc cuts out. ive tried everything on my own device to stop this from happening and have ran out of ideas, from google and my own. It only happens during downloads with the error the default gateway is closedHub 4 Wired Speed Slow + Slow Router Speeds on SamKnows
As per the title, with my Hub 4 I am only achieving speeds of 45.6Mbps (Router)/45.9Mbps (Device) when doing the SamKnows RealSpeed test. The broadband we are currently paying for is the Gig1 in which we are achieving nowhere near the advertised or even 'lowest' speeds. However, we are achieving the advertised upload speeds. When going through the support it says there are no current signal or broadband issues within the area, however the download speed over both Wired and WIFI have been progressively declining over the last month.Internet dropping every few hours, lost packages, intermittent connection (few years already)
Dear Community, I would like to say thank you to anyone involved, and a big thank you for your time spent. I appreciate any work on this, especially since the issue began impacting me more when I started working from home occasionally. Also, online gaming become very frustrating. Problem: Internet dropping, lost packages, intermittent connection (a few years already) More info: It is happening on all devices, x2 wired PCs, and x2 laptops on wifi, and mobile phones. I have called Viring Media about it and they came and replaced my old hub with version 5 but still the same. I have been with Viring Media for the past 5 years and I noticed the issue about 3 years ago. The internet will work fine for a few hours straight until it starts to drop. The lost connection is intermittent, it will work for 1 minute just to stop for 20-30 seconds and again and gain from at least 10-15 minutes and then back to working again for another few hours. I am attaching some data that I have seen was useful on other similar threads. When I experience the issues I see this when pinging bbc. The Windows tray icon will show no internet. These were taken from the HUB when the internet was working fine, I can try to capture when this is happening if needed. Does anyone see something wrong here? Many thanks for all your help. Leaving VM need to retain emails…help!!!!!!
Hi, I’m leaving virgin media and they’ve told me I only have access to my emails for 90 days. I use an iPhone and I’ve set up a new yahoo email account but I have thousands of VM (ntlworld) emails from the last c. 20 years I’d like to retain! I’m useless with technology, can anyone explain how I can download/save my ntlworld email folders so I can still access them after the 90 days?? Also, I may need to forward them on after the 90 days. Would this be possible once downloaded/saved? Thanks! Sarah
