Free Netflix
I upgraded to a package with free netflix early November. Despite numerous calls to customer services. I still do not have the Netflix link. It has been referred at least twice to IT with a 10 working day turnaround & still no fix. I have raised an official complaint & still getting nowhere. I have just had a call from VMO2 regarding renewing my contract, I was happy with my price and I confirmed by asking that all my services would stay the same as my current contract. The caller confirmed this was the case, so I agreed to proceed. not 5 minutes later I get an email from Netflix and virgin media saying that my Netflix had been suspended due to removal of my payment method. And it appears Netflix has been removed from my account. How do I get this back as online chat seem none the wiser. I can see that this is an issue many are facing, but for the sake of kicking up as much of a fuss as possible until Virgin sort themselves out, here goes - It seems like it's not possible to activate Netflix which is included in my package. I've tried all browsers and there's no option to activate Netflix, although it did appear 1 time but then immediately errored out. I've tried calling multiple times asking for a manual link to activate Netflix but i get told a link will be sent, only to never receive anything. Since starting as a new customer over a month ago, Virgin have done nothing right, the incompetence is staggering. Why are Virgin offering incentives with no means of actually delivering? Hi looking for any advice? I’d reported on 21/11/25 to VM that my Netflix account appeared to hacked, which has resulted in being unable to access any Netflix service. Hi Everyone, I’ve got Netflix free as part of my package but I never received an activation email. I was already a Netflix customer at the time I moved to virgin media. On Sunday I spoke with Virgin via chat and was promised an activation email would be received within 24hrs! Nothing arrived. on Monday via chat again promised 24hrs and nothing arrived. On chat again Tuesday then told it will take upto 5 days but it’s Friday night now and I have zero faith anything will arrive or change. i can’t activate via the entertainment services page as that just gives a generic error. also raised via phone (almost impossible to speak with an actual person) with complaints team but again can’t see anything arriving on a Saturday/Sunday so we won’t be watching Netflix is my guess. I changed my contract in October and it included Netflix. I have never received an activation email and have phoned virgin media multiple times to no avail. I have tried activating through app but it asks me to pay. Hi, I had an issue where my online renewal of contract didn't go through properly, so I spoke to a lady on the phone who set me up with a different package - which included Netflix. This was on the 18th November (15 days ago). Hi All , Like others , I recently upgraded the virgin media package and received Netflix with ad upgrade . I received the link to activate the Netflix account on the 27th OCT and I activated it and everything was going well until this month . Netflix has requested for a payment info and I am not sure what to do next? Do I give them a payment info ? but I am afraid they will charge me whilst I was suppose to have this Netflix package included in the VM ? Can anyone please help me solve this issue ? As many others have on this forum - I have renewed my package and as part of the upgrade I was promised free Netflix. This was on the 18th November. I have subsequently spoken multiple times to the call centre - lied to about how they will sort the problem, told multiple different things from different staff members. I have raised a complaint, stating the above. I have had a missed phone call (after requesting that contact is via email) and no closer to activation. I have told multiple staff that there is no activation button in the ‘entertainment services’ It is infuriating.
