Thanks for this, would it work properly with the Hub3? Are the Hub3 ports limited to 100Mb?

Hub3 has 1GB ports.  So - No. Its the budget TP-Link router that has the 100/10 ports that is the wek link in your set up.

Upgrade it to one with 1GB ports

    Long shot given this thread is 2 years old but... I have the exact same issue with TP-Link C7 AC1750, which to my understanding, has faster than 100MB internet port.  So why am I losing 150Mbps when using my Hub 3 in Modem Mode...?
