For a couple of weeks now the upload speed on our 1Gb package has been sitting around 25-30Mbps instead of the usual 52Mbps. We're also noticing artifacts when watching live or recorded TV (streaming is fine) - which may or may not be related. Virgin's status page mentions no faults in the area (RH15) but when I run a test on B/B or TV it says there's a "known fault in the area that's being looked into and to check back regularly" - which I've been doing every day with no change. The dowload speed is all fine and dandy, hitting 930-940Mbps all the time.
The upstream 'Modulation' for each channel is 32QAM, 64QAM, 32QAM, 16QAM respectively, which is where the issue lies I suspect, at least with the upstream issue.
When is this likely to be fixed as it makes working remotely and using a Remote Server very slow and laborious?! And is the TV issue related?
