Vandalism to exposed external wiring

A vandal has removed my outside external cable entry cover and attempted to cut my cables (succeeding on the now redundant phone line and only halfway through the bigger broadband cable).

Everything appears to work still but I need to protect the cables again and need to find a cable entry cover. I have called Virgin but they have said that I’d need to pay for an engineer to come round despite me pointing out that the wires are unprotected and I need a solution immediately.
