Downgrade my broadband package

I Currently have M250 Fibre boardband & Phone line rental which is costing me £ 41.34 until 24/06/24 thereafter it will rise to £ 60.34 - This is unaceptable as I am now retired and money is very tight

I have spoken to retention after a very long wait o HOLD for 34 mins...who were most unhelpful

So I would like to DOWNGRADE my broadband to M125 but it seems impossible to do this online
