I have a BT8600 digital cordless phone with a base and 2 handsets
it worked perfectly until I plugged in the adapter sent by Virgin for use post the switch from copper lines to digital lines
There is now no dial tone and I cannot receive or make calls. Also receive a line error message
has anyone had a similar issue and has found a solution?
incidentally, I have a mesh network and so use the Hub 4 in modem mode.
hopefully someone can help me as getting assistance from Virgin is non existent
Is the BT8600 phone non compatible

Has your switchover date happened or have you just received the adapter?
Have you tested your original wall socket to see if that is still working?
Are you using your original BT cable which came with the phone and then plugging in to the VM adapter?
Or are you using some other lead combo from VM?
The first is the preferred method. The latter has been mentioned on here as not working in the past.
