Community EGX Competition - General T&Cs
- The promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Virgin Media Limited, their immediate family members and anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
- While participants are encouraged to post on a specific board, there is a maximum of one entry per person in the prize draw.
- To enter the promotion entrants are required to register to the Virgin Media community and post in the Gaming Lounge forum thread titled 'EGX Competition: game of the year' with the name of their favourite new game of 2017. The post must comply with the Community House Rules and Virgin Media's Terms of Use.
- All entries must be received between the launch of the competition on Friday 15th September 2017 and at 23.59 Monday 19th September 2017. Entries received outside of this time frame will not be accepted.
- Prize: There are 2 prizes: each consisting of 2 standard entry tickets to EGX on the Saturday 23rd September 2017. The prize does not include travel or accommodation. You will be emailed the e-tickets shortly before the event takes place in September 2017.
- We will draw the winners at random. The date of the draw is 20th September 2017. The winners will be notified via private message within 24 hours of the draw.
- If, for any reason, the winner is unable to respond with a name and email address and accept the prize then an alternative winner will be selected.
- The Promoter will make every reasonable effort to contact the winner, however if the winner cannot be contacted or the Promoter doesn't receive a response within 24 hours of notification, the Promoter may deem the prize as forfeited.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason. Proof of posting is not proof of entry.
- Where it becomes necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage without notice.
- The Promoter does not assume any responsibility or liability for communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to notification of any winner.
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Personal data collected in the course of this promotion will be used for administering the promotion only and destroyed thereafter.
- The name and county of the winner/s will be made available after 21st September 2017 by sending an SAE to Community EGX Competition, Griffin House, 161 Hammersmith Road, Hammersmith, London, W6, 8BS.
