Remote not working on new samsung tv
Hi, just purchased a new Samsung tv, while setting it up it’s trying to connect to the box using the tv app which I thought was great, one remote to control everything. That’s where the excitement ended, it didn’t connect to the arris 360 box at all, I tried everything! The box number is DCX960/KK0B/N215/1000 any ideas how I can get this working? The tv recognises the code, but when it asks to switch channels nothing happens. thanks IanCan Virgin remotely reboot router in modem mode?
I am out if the country and suddenly cannot communicate with devices on my local network at home (Hive, Ring, Tapo etc) which I think means my local network needs a reboot. At home I’d power everything off and back on again, but clearly can’t do this. My Virgin router is in modem mode - can Virgin remotely force this to reboot (may not solve problem if it’s my own router that needs reboot - but would be worth a try)?
Finding a lost 360 remote
Hi, my mother in law has dementia and keeps losing her remote. We don't know where she puts but we can't find them in her relatively small house. Is there a way to find lost 360 remotes? I know you could make the old remotes bleep by pressing buttons on the box but I don't think you can do that with a 360 remote? Are there any tags you can attach to the remote to find them?
Anyone know the remote code to allow a V6 remote to control the volume on a new TCL C805 TV please?
Just bought a new TCL C805 TV and have spent a good while trying to get my V6 remote to control the volume on my new TV. Even tried the 0999 code and then spent 10 minutes pressing the 'channel up' key every 2 seconds in the hope the TV would turn off but alas it didn't. Just asking in case anyone has managed to find the elusive code! And before anyone suggests it, 0398 doesn't work. Thanks in advance guys 🙂Samsung Universal TV Remote and TV 360
Hi, I have been offered the upgrade to TV 360, which I will initiate when I get back from holiday. My TV is a Samsung which comes with a universal remote. This currently works well controlling the TV and the TIVO box. I've read the existing posts in the forum in relation to using the Samsung universal remote to control the TV 360, but there does not seem to be a definitive answer. So if anyone out there has successfully used their Samsung remote and the TV 360, please could list the steps you used to set it up. Any help gratefully received. Kind Regards, Bill
Stream Remote Fire Tv compatibility
Not sure if Stream remote is faulty or its just a compatibility issue with JVC fire TV. Everything works as it should with one exception, the red power button in the top right! The red power button works via bluetooth to power on the streambox, however, when you press it, it also sends an infrared signal out which the Fire TV interprets as wanting to load Pluto TV (fire tv app not stream app) resulting in us having to reselect HDMI1 to get back to Stream. I have figured out a work around, cover the infra red sender on the stream remote when pressing the red power button on the top right of the remote, but surely this shouldnt be happening in the first place?? Perhaps a Firmware update for the remote is required to stop it sending the IR signal at same time as the bluetooth signal??
