Prohibited word use reseting password
My Blueyonder e-mail, which has been working fine for years, just stopped accepting my password. I have received no communication from Virgin Media stating that it is time to reset my password or providing any other explanation for this. I tried to reset my password, and I continually get the "Prohibited Word used" for every password I try. Whoever designed this reset interface needs to go back to college and learn about user interface design and user experience. At no point is any advice given as to what a password should be. I have tried all manner of combinations based on other posts on this forum. Yes, my password starts with a letter (not documented anywhere on the form). Yes, I have an uppercase and a lowercase letter. Yes, I have a number. Yes, it is between 8 and 64 characters. No, it does not contain any easy-to-guess words. No, it is not a reused password. Somebody explain how ANYBODY is supposed to reset their password using an interface like this?49Views0likes2CommentsPasswords for my other NTLWorld email accounts
Back in the old days I could log into my Virgin Account and create and manage the other email accounts I had created for my wife and son. Now that facility has gone. My wife has changed her phone and I can not get the password for her email address to set up on the phone's email client. I am totally confused by the new process as it seems I now have to create a new Virgin ID for each of the other other email accounts. Do I create a Virgin account using the original NTLworld email address my wife has or do I create it using her outlook.com email address and then how do I link it to the NTLworld email so we can retrieve a password for it. I have tried to use the webchat to find out and the agents were the worse customer service agents I have ever dealt with. I work in IT providing support to users and if I ever acted like they have I would have lost my job. Can anyone help me?Solved80Views0likes1Commentsub email password reset blueyonder account

We have been customers for a long time... My wife and I both have blueyonder.co.uk email accounts. As account holder, I initially set up sub-accounts (email addresses) for my wife and each of our children. I used to be able to see these and manage passwords (in fact originally, only I could do this - they couldn't manage their own accounts). I cannot find this page anywhere on my account details. My wife has a new laptop, and cannot remember her email password (not something you use very often when emails are synched onto a computer) but we can't find a way to either recover or reset this. The account is still active and on her iPad, but it doesn't show the password. Any help and advice?? Thank you!99Views1like6CommentsNo longer have access to a Blueyonder email account
My daughter can no longer access her blueyonder email account. She can remember her password and the recovery email doesn't appear to be hers. I am the Virgin Media account holder and have been for more than 30 years. Would appreciate some advice on how she can view her emails. Many thanks.114Views0likes11CommentsPassword not able to reset

Hello I have a new phone and cannot access my blueyonder or virginmedia email addresses. I have forgotten the passwords, and when following the help on website for forgotten passwords, it goes not recognise the accounts, they are both sub accounts, and now not showing on the main account. I can still send/receive emails from the relevant addresses. Please help224Views0likes8CommentsNTLWORLD Access
I can no longer access my NTLWorld emaill account. The Virgin Media sign in page just keeps refreshing itself every time I click on 'Sign IN' and when I did manage to get on the password was rejected so I tried to do a password reset but the email that is sent to my security gmail account never arrived. Contacted help desk but they are hopeless because they say I dont have an 'account' - which is true, I don't have an 'account' with Virgin Media - all I have is an email address which up until yesterday I have been using for over 20 years!! Can anyone please help me with this? All I want to do is reset my NTLWORLD password.Solved372Views0likes6CommentsUnable to reset password
I was logged out of my Virgin Media account, and now it says my password is incorrect, which is odd since I use a password manager. I changed my email address but don't receive a reset email when I try to reset my password. I logged into the community forum with my old email, but I’ve been using my new email on the app for months. I’ve seen others mentioning similar issues, and I wonder if Virgin Media is having trouble with Outlook accounts. It seems the only solution is for someone from the Virgin team to contact me.69Views0likes3CommentsEmail Password reset can't find me - had same email for 20 plus years
Hi For some reason, why I check emails on my phone, my blueyonder email account is rejecting my password, and tells me that my password is incorrect. No other email address or provider is affected, only my blueyonder one. When I go to https://www.virginmedia.com/identity/forgotten-details/password and enter my blueyonder email address I receive the following message: Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media I have had the same blueyonder email address for over 20 years, and was able to access my emails yesterday, 11/01/25. I have made no changes or requests for a password reset. I am not able to get in to my account settings at https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings as my password is not recognised and I receive the same error message as shown above.354Views0likes5Comments
