NTLWORLD Access
I can no longer access my NTLWorld emaill account. The Virgin Media sign in page just keeps refreshing itself every time I click on 'Sign IN' and when I did manage to get on the password was rejected so I tried to do a password reset but the email that is sent to my security gmail account never arrived. Contacted help desk but they are hopeless because they say I dont have an 'account' - which is true, I don't have an 'account' with Virgin Media - all I have is an email address which up until yesterday I have been using for over 20 years!! Can anyone please help me with this? All I want to do is reset my NTLWORLD password.Solved167Views0likes6CommentsUnable to reset password
I was logged out of my Virgin Media account, and now it says my password is incorrect, which is odd since I use a password manager. I changed my email address but don't receive a reset email when I try to reset my password. I logged into the community forum with my old email, but I’ve been using my new email on the app for months. I’ve seen others mentioning similar issues, and I wonder if Virgin Media is having trouble with Outlook accounts. It seems the only solution is for someone from the Virgin team to contact me.50Views0likes3CommentsEmail Password reset can't find me - had same email for 20 plus years
Hi For some reason, why I check emails on my phone, my blueyonder email account is rejecting my password, and tells me that my password is incorrect. No other email address or provider is affected, only my blueyonder one. When I go to https://www.virginmedia.com/identity/forgotten-details/password and enter my blueyonder email address I receive the following message: Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media I have had the same blueyonder email address for over 20 years, and was able to access my emails yesterday, 11/01/25. I have made no changes or requests for a password reset. I am not able to get in to my account settings at https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings as my password is not recognised and I receive the same error message as shown above.322Views0likes5CommentsVM Email Address and/or Password not recognised
Hi all, I’ve had my VM email account for over a decade, mainly for emails. After a recent technical issue that impacted email access, I’ve been transitioning to my iCloud address. However, I still need access to my VM email for important information collected over the years. Currently, I can’t log in or reset my password. When I try, I receive this message: “Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media.” Support asks for a postcode or account number, but I no longer have access to this information since the account is over ten years old and the related VM contract is inactive. Despite this, emails can still be sent to my VM address. I’m concerned the account might have been dissolved without warning. Could anyone advise on how I can regain access or reset the password? Thank you for any support.893Views0likes8Comments@virginmedia.com password suddenly incorrect
Good afternoon, I use the webmail to access my emails and there's an exclamation mark next to my virginmedia.com account. When I click on it, it says "The provided login data to access e-mail server imap.virginmedia.com seems to be wrong. Please correct them." however when I re-enter my password it tells me it can't update as it's incorrect. I removed the mailbox from the account settings, so I could cleanly re-enter the IMAP/SMTP settings etc, it says it can't add it (but adds it anyway) but then again when I click to expand the mailbox, I get the above error again. Editing the settings of the mailbox in the account then shows that it's not filled in! I've just gone back to the account settings and it's populated again but displays "The entered credential or authentication information does not work or are no longer accepted by provider. Please change them." Is there a wider issue here or have I somehow been hacked and had my password changed? Kind regards, ScottSolved2.6KViews1like9CommentsCan't sign into webmail or Virgin Media; can't change password
I can's sign into either webmail or VM, and when I try to reset my password the page freezes and I get a "suspicious activity detected - try later." I therefore have no access to webmail, although I can still receive emails on my phone and via Outlook on my desktop. When I try to long on to webmail, it accepts the email address, passes the "checking details" hurdle, accepts the email address again, but then freezes when I input my password. What's happening and how can I fix it?Solved1.2KViews0likes7CommentsBlueyonder email address hacked
Hi, my primary email address of username@blueyonder.co.uk was hacked not long after I received an extortion email a week ago telling me to pay up to avoid compromising photos of me being distributed to my accounts. Worryingly, the email included the genuine password for my email account. I've changed My Virgin Media password and the password for the client app I normally use to access my emails. I'm not sure if this change feeds through to my webmail password. The Virgin Media site says it doesn't but an agent says it does. My hacked email has been used to access my Etsy and Ebay accounts - I've arranged for these to be closed. I've also set up active forwarding on my username@blueyonder.co.uk account but some has used it to access my Shopify account. I've now closed it. So my email address is floating about on the internet ripe for misuse. Ideally I would like to delete my blueyonder email address but I understand I can only do this if I cancel all my Virgin Media services. Is there no way of replacing it with a virginmedia.com address? Also, how can I be sure the blueyonder.co.uk webmail address has been changed and so avoid it being hacked again? Our main ntlworld email address, connected to our main Virgin account stopped working yesterday and we cannot access it. This happens several times a year, but it appears the process to change the password has changed, and I am confused. Before I change anything please can you advise me: 1) Do I just change the Email password? 2) Do I also have to change the Virgin Media password for our broadband, TV etc? 3) Do I also have to set up this Virgin Media app password (this is the first time I've seen it)? The advice given by Virgin is extremely confusing and I don't want to change ANYTHING without being 100% sure.Solved865Views0likes3Commentscan't change password
