Password not able to reset
I'm trying to reset my mums email password so she can check her emails. It's set up with Gmail to login as had issues like before but the email with the password reset link isn't coming through. Can someone please contact me to get this sorted ASAP please? Many thanks.53Views0likes4CommentsWhich flipping (polite version) username / password / PIN?
Every time I have an issue with VM and need to login I seem to be entering an incorrect password. No idea why, I have a password manager which usually tells me what I need to enter (one now filled with multiple entries some with copious notes). Quite often I go to sign in to Email and the bookmarked URL doesn't work (usually get an error message, again, I don't know why VM make this difficult everyone else seems to handle it). So, how many passwords/accounts are there? Could someone from VM just list where I need a particular password or username and for any online services where the actual login page is. For example, and not limited to: Broadband / TV - account Email (blueyonder) (incidentally the username for this now seems to be my Gmail email address, oh wow) Email (blueyonder POP3 settings for Gmail) Virgin Media TV 360 box (need for resetting yet another PIN) Customer Services - telephone username / PIN? VM Community anything I've missed? Why can't VM just have a single account name for everything and simplify it for all their customers who have a billion other passwords to remember and VM is not the centre of their lives?Blueyonder.co.uk and Virginmeda.com email address issues.
Hello I have a new phone and cannot access my blueyonder or virginmedia email addresses. I have forgotten the passwords, and when following the help on website for forgotten passwords, it goes not recognise the accounts, they are both sub accounts, and now not showing on the main account. I can still send/receive emails from the relevant addresses. Please help176Views0likes8CommentsNTLWORLD Access
I can no longer access my NTLWorld emaill account. The Virgin Media sign in page just keeps refreshing itself every time I click on 'Sign IN' and when I did manage to get on the password was rejected so I tried to do a password reset but the email that is sent to my security gmail account never arrived. Contacted help desk but they are hopeless because they say I dont have an 'account' - which is true, I don't have an 'account' with Virgin Media - all I have is an email address which up until yesterday I have been using for over 20 years!! Can anyone please help me with this? All I want to do is reset my NTLWORLD password.Solved211Views0likes6CommentsUnable to reset password
I was logged out of my Virgin Media account, and now it says my password is incorrect, which is odd since I use a password manager. I changed my email address but don't receive a reset email when I try to reset my password. I logged into the community forum with my old email, but I’ve been using my new email on the app for months. I’ve seen others mentioning similar issues, and I wonder if Virgin Media is having trouble with Outlook accounts. It seems the only solution is for someone from the Virgin team to contact me.57Views0likes3CommentsEmail Password reset can't find me - had same email for 20 plus years
Hi For some reason, why I check emails on my phone, my blueyonder email account is rejecting my password, and tells me that my password is incorrect. No other email address or provider is affected, only my blueyonder one. When I go to https://www.virginmedia.com/identity/forgotten-details/password and enter my blueyonder email address I receive the following message: Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media I have had the same blueyonder email address for over 20 years, and was able to access my emails yesterday, 11/01/25. I have made no changes or requests for a password reset. I am not able to get in to my account settings at https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings as my password is not recognised and I receive the same error message as shown above.332Views0likes5CommentsRidiculous password requirements - Can't set up my account
I have tried around 50 different passwords, including just sets of random letters and numbers. Every time it tells me that I have added a prohibited word. How is a random string of letters, numbers and special characters a prohibited word? Here's an example password I've tried to use (not actually using this) Akjs23kj7slkja7f9-2323 I have followed the guidelines to the letter. This is beyond ridiculous. I'm now seriously considering just cancelling my entire order and going with a competitor at this point - Looks like one of your developers needs to take a look at this system as it's clearly broken. Not the best start, is it?VM Email Address and/or Password not recognised
Hi all, I’ve had my VM email account for over a decade, mainly for emails. After a recent technical issue that impacted email access, I’ve been transitioning to my iCloud address. However, I still need access to my VM email for important information collected over the years. Currently, I can’t log in or reset my password. When I try, I receive this message: “Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media.” Support asks for a postcode or account number, but I no longer have access to this information since the account is over ten years old and the related VM contract is inactive. Despite this, emails can still be sent to my VM address. I’m concerned the account might have been dissolved without warning. Could anyone advise on how I can regain access or reset the password? Thank you for any support.898Views0likes8Comments@virginmedia.com password suddenly incorrect
Good afternoon, I use the webmail to access my emails and there's an exclamation mark next to my virginmedia.com account. When I click on it, it says "The provided login data to access e-mail server imap.virginmedia.com seems to be wrong. Please correct them." however when I re-enter my password it tells me it can't update as it's incorrect. I removed the mailbox from the account settings, so I could cleanly re-enter the IMAP/SMTP settings etc, it says it can't add it (but adds it anyway) but then again when I click to expand the mailbox, I get the above error again. Editing the settings of the mailbox in the account then shows that it's not filled in! I've just gone back to the account settings and it's populated again but displays "The entered credential or authentication information does not work or are no longer accepted by provider. Please change them." Is there a wider issue here or have I somehow been hacked and had my password changed? Kind regards, ScottSolved2.7KViews1like9Comments
