Virgin.net email - password incorrect

I have 3 devices (one Windows desktop, one iPad and an iphone) all accessing the same virgin.net email account. For the past week I have been unable to access my email account on my iPhone. The message i get is 'Password Incorrect'. I am able to access mail on my desktop and iPad. Any ideas please. I've tried in vain to talk or get help from Virgin Media who appear to have washed their hands of any email issues. The 150 number doesn't work and the 0345 454 1111 number is a robot who doesn't resister @email' as a problem. Thank you.

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. For third party email client, please try this;

    Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
    Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'
    Make a note of the generated password. This is what you use in the mail apps along with the Virgin Media email address as the username.
