Hub5 Password Incorrect 192.168.0.1

I am having trouble logging into the admin panel on my new hub 5, i keep getting told that my password is incorrect.

The password on the bottom is this below. i am reading it as "fuo/7iePFnzg", but the slash looks wrong, and not like the other slashes. I have also tried a 60 second reset button press and that has changed nothing.

Anyone any idea?

  • Try a lower case v  or y. Sometimes the printing on those labels is pretty poor.

  • Hey! That can definitely be frustrating. The password printed on the Hub 5 often uses tricky fonts — what looks like a slash / might actually be a capital "L", number 1, or even a lowercase "l". Try swapping it out and test a few variations.

Since 192.168.0.1 isn’t letting you in, also check if your Hub might be using a different local IP — some setups default to 10.0.0.0.1, especially if you’ve made past changes or restored from a config.

If the reset didn’t help, try holding the reset for more than 60 seconds and wait 5-10 minutes before retrying. Let us know how it goes!

The OP posted this a year ago and it was resolved …

Apart from that error, that response reads like an AI generated reply.
