I need to re-set password on secondary email
I need to re-set the password on my secondary VM email account. I can't log in with it ... because I have forgotten it. the VM site tries to force me to login using the email that is used to access My Virgin Media account and change THAT password i.e. my primary email address - I don't want to change that password... Please advise.. TIA49Views0likes3CommentsPassword Reset Email Not Recieved
Seems to be a common issue here, I have been trying to get in touch with VM for months in order to notify them that I was moving home, however I lost my password. I tried to reset it, but I haven't received the email that allows me to change it. I have tried 10 + times to do this and checked in the spam folder for it. It seems there is a fault with the VM system that needs to be fixed. I also can't talk to another human being on the phone as the bot asks for characters from the missing password in order to put me through to a team member, which I don't have and can't reset. Consequently, I haven't been able to inform them of my moving home and I am spending money on an inactive router. Has anyone been able to resolve this? Or is there an administrator who can assist and help with the password reset?53Views1like6CommentsUnable to reset password
Issue: I am unable to reset my password as the password strength is classed as “invalid”, even when using passwords generated by a password generator. I am therefore not able to reset my password and access my virgin media account. Reproduction: 1. Open the MyVirginMedia app 2. Select “Broadband tv and phone” 3. Select “Forgotten … password 4. Follow the link provided in my email to the reset password page on virginmedia.com 5. Try to choose a new password Result: No passwords are valid. Password strength is ”invalid” even when meeting the password criteria. Expected: A password can be set and password for my account changed.Solved27KViews0likes37CommentsEmail Password reset can't find me - had same email for 20 plus years
Hi For some reason, why I check emails on my phone, my blueyonder email account is rejecting my password, and tells me that my password is incorrect. No other email address or provider is affected, only my blueyonder one. When I go to https://www.virginmedia.com/identity/forgotten-details/password and enter my blueyonder email address I receive the following message: Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media I have had the same blueyonder email address for over 20 years, and was able to access my emails yesterday, 11/01/25. I have made no changes or requests for a password reset. I am not able to get in to my account settings at https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings as my password is not recognised and I receive the same error message as shown above.312Views0likes5CommentsPassword reset help
Hello, I am not receiving my password reset email - I have tried to send it multiple times. This is for my Virgin Media - I need to reset my password for my Virgin Media Mobile account. How can I reset my password if I am not receiving the email? It is not in junk. Many thanks, Louise945Views0likes1CommentRidiculous password requirements - Can't set up my account
I have tried around 50 different passwords, including just sets of random letters and numbers. Every time it tells me that I have added a prohibited word. How is a random string of letters, numbers and special characters a prohibited word? Here's an example password I've tried to use (not actually using this) Akjs23kj7slkja7f9-2323 I have followed the guidelines to the letter. This is beyond ridiculous. I'm now seriously considering just cancelling my entire order and going with a competitor at this point - Looks like one of your developers needs to take a look at this system as it's clearly broken. Not the best start, is it?
