Account login issues (ntlworld email)
I'm going round the bend here!!! I'm unable to login to my VM account despite numerous attempts. We have a number of ntlworld email accounts and as I was unable to login via our usual ntlworld address I chose one of the others. After a password reset and also providing a 3rd party email address I was able to login ONCE. Next time I tried it didn't recognise the email address I'd just used. I've gone through this process quite a few times in the past 2 days and I'm getting pretty annoyed with it now. Whenever I put my ntlworld email address and password in the boxes it states "Your email or password was incorrect. Please try again or go back to change your email." I was wanting to watch the footie via my laptop yesterday but I couldn't because the SkySports Virgin Media sign in wasn't recognising me. Can anything be done to reset this please?Solved66Views0likes4CommentsSuggestion: Move "Show" Button Out of Password Textbox
Not sure who sees this, but since Safari can autofill passwords, I suggest moving the "Show" button out of the password textbox on the Hub5 router login page. Currently they overlap, meaning you can't reach the Safari autofill button. Additionally, as is standard with on/off features, consider making this a standard checkbox/switch for improved accessibility.39Views0likes2CommentsVirgin Media O2 ID Login Problem
Posting this based on guidance in ModTeam Moderator post linked below. I was / am an old NTLWorld customer and when trying to login to my account today I'm forced to setup a new Virgin Media 02 login instead. I've done that, and in the process changed from an ntlworld.com to gmail.com email. However when I try to use this new login, it keeps taking me back through the new Virgin Media 02 login setup process each time. Its an endless loop of receiving a "Verify your email address" email, which I do, and then back to the setup process when I actually try to login. I'm stuck and can't access VM's online chat for help because I can't login to my account! Moderator - please help. Hi, I've been a Virgin customer for over13 years and always use the same email address... Registered for the new vmo2 ID using my old hotmail email address and it went funny half way through, now I am unable to login. If I go to https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2 and hit the sign in button or the register button I then enter my email address and click next then the browser goes to: https://oauth.virginmediao2.co.uk/as/TeYDuVqwzJ/resume/as/authorization.ping Then the browser goes to https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/home?error_description=(reference%23%20VESSAWWF)%20The%20OAuth%20auth%20server%20has%20returned%20an%20error%20for%20the%20auth%20request%20-%20access_denied%20-%20Authentication%20failed.&error=access_denied and sits there with a blank white page, with the virgin page header (black wave thingy). If I say I've forgotten my email 'Forgot your email address' then enter my details it tells me the email address that I enter when I experience the issue. What on earth am I supposed to do now?256Views0likes12CommentsVirgin Media Login
I have tried for the past three weeks to logon to my virgin media / O2 Mobile account and can't. It presents with this error stating that I should turn off VPN??? Use another browser, etc etc etc. Having come back to virgin after 18 months it seems that service and customer care have vanished. A chat with a bot? then eventually a person, I think stated that he would raise a ticket to resolve this. That was over a week ago and no contact. The error is below Instead: Use a device you've signed in on before Try again from a familiar connection If you're on a VPN, switch it off and have another go Still stuck? If this keeps happening, get in touch with us (quoting reference IDF-12B) and we'll help sort it. Getting anyone to answer the phone is near impossible, I give up after 30 mins waiting on the phone answering daft questions to another bot, that doesn't understand what I'm asking and punching various numbers on a keypad to transfer between who??? Please get this fixed, its been over a month since it was installed and well and truly fed up. This is not customer service this is unjustified, unhelpful and not fit for purpose.71Views0likes2CommentsCan't login to VM account to access email

Hi, I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a week now, and it’s clearly related to the new ID merge between Virgin Media and O2. As it stands, I can’t access my Virgin Media account at all, meaning I can’t watch Sky Sports on my laptop or phone, or even do something simple like check or manage my account. I called customer support on 15/07/25 and spent over an hour on the phone with technical support. I was told this is a known issue affecting many users, and was advised to try again this week as it should have been resolved by now. Spoiler alert: it hasn’t been. The problem seems to be when I try to log in. I’m prompted to link my Virgin and/or O2 accounts. When I attempt to link the Virgin Media account, the system sends a verification email to one of my email addresses (which I can access), but clicking the link just sends me to the Virgin homepage. It doesn’t actually verify anything. So I’m stuck in an endless loop that leads nowhere. To make things more confusing, the new ID system was set up with a different email address than my original Virgin Media login. Both emails are mine and both work, and I only used a different one initially because I was already having issues on setting up the new ID. I’m now wondering if that mismatch is contributing to the problem. Either way, the verification links aren’t doing their job. When is this going to be fixed? It’s been long enough. I have control of two Virgin Media accounts. The first has been my personal longstanding O2 account. The second is a Virgin Media landline, broadband, and TV account which I manage on behalf of my parents. Both accounts are registered to the same address; however, when trying to log in to the 'improved' virginmediao2.co.uk login system, I have not been able to link the two accounts... so, I now have two VM accounts. I am not able to telephone customer services for health reasons. Please can someone help me get in touch with a human being who can sort this for me? Thanks, Mathew197Views0likes7CommentsNot Prompted for Password
I am unable to access My Account on virginmedia.com. I enter my email address and after a short delay this is displayed: I never get an opportunity to enter my password. I have tried from multiple computers, multiple browsers and multiple ISPs (including Virgin) always with the same message above being displayed. My TV package includes SkySports and I am able to use my Virgin customer details to log into Sky Sports on the same computers that I am unable to access my account on the Virgin Media website. Customer support are blaming my configuration without giving any indication how I might resolve it, perhaps someone here can help?106Views0likes5Comments
