Account login issues (ntlworld email)

I'm going round the bend here!!!

I'm unable to login to my VM account despite numerous attempts.

We have a number of ntlworld email accounts and as I was unable to login via our usual ntlworld address I chose one of the others.  After a password reset and also providing a 3rd party email address I was able to login ONCE.  Next time I tried it didn't recognise the email address I'd just used.  I've gone through this process quite a few times in the past 2 days and I'm getting pretty annoyed with it now.

Whenever I put my ntlworld email address and password in the boxes it states "Your email or password was incorrect. Please try again or go back to change your email."

I was wanting to watch the footie via my laptop yesterday but I couldn't because the SkySports Virgin Media sign in wasn't recognising me.

Can anything be done to reset this please?

  • Just to mention that in an attempt to resolve this I'm now using Google Chrome instead of MS Edge as I thought starting with a clean state might help.  It didn't!

  • I need to access my ntlworld e-mail. My joint account is in my partners name due to a problem last time we renewed. the problem was at your end. I need to change the account into my name so that you will allow me to get access to my e-mails. I pay the bills and have always done so. can you help or do I need to cancel this account and re-register again

      Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with an email account. Apologies, we do not hold joint accounts for our Virgin Media customers. Who applies for the services is the account holder who will also go through a credit check, any mailboxes that have been applied to the account can only be maintained by the account holder when reaching out to us. 

      Please request the account holder to reach out to us for any changes or assistance as part of account management that may be required.
