Virgin TV Go App asking to register same device every time
Every time I try to watch live TV through the APP it asks me to register the same device (i.e. replace a device) - I now have this same device 3 times in my list of 5. Plus it is using up one of my 3 changes allowed every time meaning I can't now change for a month. Upshot is I can't watch live TV. I stress that I am using the TV Go APP - not via a browser. How do I turn off the subtitles on TVGo so that they stay off. Despite them being off in the settings, every time I change channel they turn on again. Sometimes I turn them off and then they turn on again when one programme ends and another starts on the same channel. To say its annoying is an understatement. Im in an endless loop of trying to log into Virgin TV Go on the iphone app or within a web browser. Yesterday i was asked to set up a Virgin Media O2 ID and now i cant access anything. Here are the steps of what is currently happening. Enter email address Enter password Verification email is sent to my email adress Clicked on the 'verify its me' link Get a confimration page saying = 'Your email address has been verified' Go back to Virgin TV Go and Im still logged out Ive tried this numerous times on my PC, Macbook and iPhone and cant login from enay device or any browser. TV Go app won’t set recordings remotely whether 360 Box is on or off. Standby I power is on Active start. I am currently getting an error message when trying to view recordings on the Android app for my devices. When I try to view live TV I get a message saying I have too many devices (which I don't). When I view my device settings it says I have none then briefly flashes up that I have 3, then it changes to none again! Hi all, I'm posting on behalf of my stepdad who has had recurring issues with the Sky Sports app for about a week now. I've tried repeatedly to uninstall the app - remove its data and caches, to no avail. As someone quite comfortable with computers, I am truly baffled. The Virgin Media TV app works absolutely fine. I get up the Sky Sports app and go to watch live sports (tennis for example) and am immediately brought to the Sky sign in page where there is an option to log in with Virgin TV UK as he's done so in the past and instead get a hapless loading bar that never loads a thing. It's stopped my elderly stepdad from watching his beloved cricket and tennis anywhere that isn't the big TV in the family home. Any advice or tips (beyond the obvious) would be much appreciated as I'd really like to get this resolved for him ASAP. It's really important to him and therefore really important to me! Hi, The TV Go app works on my iPad, but on my phone every single programme, whether live tv or recording brings up an error saying “Not allowed. Tv go app on pc keeps asking to register device even though already have. please advise setup as I don’t want to use up all my goes. I only use 1 device anyway. its just started doing this. Trying to reregister the same device. do I want to keep cookies or not? Should I add any exceptions? surely if you remove them it’s going to keep asking each time and use up goes. I have 5 devices registered on virgin TV go and have tried to use one of the devices registered and get you have reached the maximum number of devices and can't add another devices until the 1st may The device i am trying to use is registered already and my father in law who also lives in the same house hold and has the same issue on his iPhone Is there anyway to get my devices reset please so we can start again as clearly there is a bug We have tried to use a registered tablet and this works fine Can someone please help to reset my devices34Views0likes1Comment
