Blueyonder.co.uk and Virginmeda.com email address issues.
Hello I have a new phone and cannot access my blueyonder or virginmedia email addresses. I have forgotten the passwords, and when following the help on website for forgotten passwords, it goes not recognise the accounts, they are both sub accounts, and now not showing on the main account. I can still send/receive emails from the relevant addresses. Please help169Views0likes8CommentsAccess to an old Virgin Media blue yonder email account
I have an old blueyonder email account that it would be useful to recover some important emails from. Can someone contact me to help with this? The address is still active as I still receive emails from another alias that forwards to my gmail account42KViews0likes40CommentsVirgin media treating church emails as spam
I administer a church website with a .church domain and we're having problems with emails being sent to blueyonder addresses, which Virgin Media is treating as spam. All of our setup looks fine (SPF, DMARC and DKIM all looking good using MXToolbox). The only emails that seem to get through are plain text with just one short line of text. Anything more is treated as spam. Any ideas?193Views0likes12CommentsMail being blocked
Hello, We're a sender trying to get in touch with the postmaster team at Virgin. Emails have gone unanswered so this seems the only alternative. It seems our sending domain and/or sending IPs are being rate-limited by VM, which is leading to bounces. We receive temporary 400 errors, and so our system will automatically retry the messages at various intervals, and most of the mail eventually gets delivered, but there's still a portion that bounces with a 500 error. It's affecting users at virgin.net, virginmendia.com, ntlworld.com and blueyonder.co.uk. I will note that these are Virgin Media subscribers who have a previous relationship with us and have opted in to receive these messages, and many of them are not receiving them because of the aforementioned issues. I can't share the domain/IP publicly, but I would appreciate it if an admin or postmaster could contact me to get this issue sorted out or point in the right direction. Thank you!147Views0likes7CommentsI want to close an old blueyonder email account
How do I do it? There's nothing obvious on my Virgin Media account home page. Some people still use this old address even though I moved from it over 10 years ago. I need to close it so they receive a "does not exist" message. I've set up an auto-responder for the time being, but it would be better if the account was closed.65Views0likes3CommentsBlueyonder Email Addresses to be deactivated?
I was on the 'phone with Virgin a few days back discussing several things and the call handler said "by the way, in about 18 months we are discontinuing blueyonder email addresses. You'll have to create a Gmail account". She couldn't give an exact date of the cut-off or any more details. Having used my blueyonder email for almost 25 years, I can't tell you how much of a pain this will be. Has anyone else heard anything?13KViews1like20CommentsBlueyonder.co.uk email
Around a month ago I was forced out of my blueyonder.co.uk account with no notice. I was asked to reset my email account address password via my VM account as I was unable to remember the previous password however my account seems to have been blocked from access. I am no further forward despite several chats with agents via WhatsApp and need help as all my important documents are on this account (mortgage, bank etc) and I’m not able to change the passwords on these due to having no access - I’m stuck in a frustrating (lack of) access cycle. Can someone from VM contact me to resolve this please?445Views0likes1CommentOutlook email connection issue today
I switched to "New" Outlook on my Windows 10 PC to read my VM blueyonder emails (plus gmail and outlook email accounts) months ago and all working perfectly until today. I have new emails in webmail but they are not appearing in Outlook. In addition when I create a new email in Outlook it will not send and any I try to send from VM webmail do not arrive in Outlook. I have checked all email settings. I tried to manage the blueyonder account in Outlook and selected Repair. Outlook came back with the message Unable to connect to your provider. I have not changed any settings or passwords anywhere. Is this a VM issue or MS?Solved1.9KViews0likes4CommentsCan't access blueyonder email
The mail app on my phone kept saying there was no password in the settings for my blueyonder account, even though there was. I tried inputting any possible passwords it could be but it wasn't accepting them. I then tried to reset my password on my laptop but it was saying it didn't recognise my email address. I can't find any solution - I've called and no one can help me.835Views0likes5CommentsBlueyonder email address hacked
Hi, my primary email address of username@blueyonder.co.uk was hacked not long after I received an extortion email a week ago telling me to pay up to avoid compromising photos of me being distributed to my accounts. Worryingly, the email included the genuine password for my email account. I've changed My Virgin Media password and the password for the client app I normally use to access my emails. I'm not sure if this change feeds through to my webmail password. The Virgin Media site says it doesn't but an agent says it does. My hacked email has been used to access my Etsy and Ebay accounts - I've arranged for these to be closed. I've also set up active forwarding on my username@blueyonder.co.uk account but some has used it to access my Shopify account. I've now closed it. So my email address is floating about on the internet ripe for misuse. Ideally I would like to delete my blueyonder email address but I understand I can only do this if I cancel all my Virgin Media services. Is there no way of replacing it with a virginmedia.com address? Also, how can I be sure the blueyonder.co.uk webmail address has been changed and so avoid it being hacked again? Many thanksSolved2.8KViews0likes4Comments
