No longer have access to a Blueyonder email account
My daughter can no longer access her blueyonder email account. She can remember her password and the recovery email doesn't appear to be hers. I am the Virgin Media account holder and have been for more than 30 years. Would appreciate some advice on how she can view her emails. Many thanks.79Views0likes11CommentsIP Address Blacklisted
One of our email accounts has not been receiving email since Friday. So we went in and reset the password and tried signing back into the client on the iPad. This kept failing and now no one can receive emails because our IP is now blacklisted. How do we go about removing this blacklist? It was on Spamhaus that it reported that it has been blacklisted.47Views0likes1CommentOutlook email help
Trying to get help on behalf of my mum for email access. Historically she had a blueyonder email address. A while ago virgin stated she had to create an outlook email address. Had some teething problems but managed to keep logged in to my virgin media and email. They stated even if people emailed to blueyonder it would still be received at the outlook address. This seemed to happen. Not sure if it’s worth noting, but she’s always had trouble accessing outlook address through outlook and can only see emails through my virgin media. Recently it’s logged her out and she can’t get back in. She enters the username for my virgin media and it won’t accept the password, so clicks on forgot password, which then sends a verification code to her outlook email which she can’t access. We chatted through WhatsApp to someone who referred it to IT but have heard nothing. Hope my explanation makes sense if anyone can help? Wondering if there is anyone who can help me out - my dad has dementia and is locked out of his blueyonder email account and subsequently unable to access his virgin account. It's no longer in use but there are many payments linked to the email acct, as well as the virgin TV, Internet, etc. subscription. I know that blueyonder and Virgin are linked in some way but that's about as close as I've managed to get in untangling this mess and I've not managed to get ahold of anyone from Virgin to speak to about it. I have power of attorney but there don't seem to be any readily accessible resources on handling this. If anyone has any experience with this, advice, or even contacts I can speak to, I would appreciate any help :) this is hard to deal with and it's even harder to get big companies to pay attention to us little folk! I understand the need for improved login security these days but this whole switchover to VMO2 accounts has been done without any consideration for customers - a blanket email announcement to all VM customers a month or so ago would've been nice. My issue is that I have a secondary (blueyonder) email address that I have now also linked to VMO2 (along with my primary address) but, before allowing me to login to webmail, it is requiring me to link that 2nd email to my main VM account (when it asks for account no., area ref & surname etc) I am concerned that if I now link the secondary address to my VM acc. it will swap/disconnect the existing (and working) link from my primary email address ..or will it just add it? Has anyone here successfully linked more than one VMO2 account to a single main VM acc? Also, this only seems to be an issue for logging into webmail in a browser - as Mail apps on iphone/ipad/Windows/Mac (with original IMAP settings) are still working. Am happy to NOT use webmail temporarily if VMO2 are planning to revert to a simpler login method - can a moderator please confirm what or if there are any plans for this? Thanks. Can't get access to my email. When I finally got through to an advisor on 150, he told me not to bother trying to log in because THERE IS A FAULT. But I've seen elsewhere on this forum, we are being advised to sign in in a new kind of way. Can an advisor who knows what they're talking about kindly clarify what we are supposed to do. Not that I have much confidence in their reply. If I have to go through the hell I had to go through last time, this time I really will be leaving Virgin Media. None of the Virgin websites are working on my desktop Mac. I look forward to receiving some helpful advice.617Views3likes19CommentsHow do I add my blueyonder email to my android email app
Since the recent fiasco with Virgin email accounts I have been on the phone for about 3-4 hours a day (not counting waiting the queue) on 4 days and eventually with their help I got my Blueyonder email account readable on my laptop and desktop. However, despite a lot of contact (my phone record shows nearly 15 hours) with the helpline my blueyonder account cannot be added to the email apps on my android phone or my iPad. The final answer I have is "I have raised a ticket with IT and they will contact you." So far no contact from IT. I have tried the "Add account" feature that used to work following all the steps only to find that my password is not verified but no way to verify it. I have tried the instructions on the Virgin Media website but that didn't work. I have tried several other "solutions" on the internet, on youtube andeven had my 14 year old grandson try. NOTHING seems to work. I am on day 6 of the 14 day cooling off period of my new contract. If I cannot access my email by day 10 then I will cancel and move to a more reliable provider. So can anyone send me instructions of how to add my blueyonder account to my email apps? And please do not say "ask the helpline" as I am fed up wasting my time and their's.Solved180Views0likes8CommentsCan't access emails, password not verified
Can anybody help please. I haven't been able to access my emails since Monday. I have a blueyonder account and am getting the new Virgin Media/O2 sign in page. When I put my password in I get an error message which says 'Your password wasn't verified. Please try again' and I can't go any further. Is anybody else having this problem and if so, have you found a solution? Any help appreciated.383Views2likes8Comments
