I asked one or two callers and they said that they were given my number which is weird. I think what I'm going to have to do is to get the number of the people whom they've been in contact with and call them instead, i.e. the doctor or who ever it was. I need to change my VM landline number I've had my landline since around 2000 but need to change it as I've been getting quite a few calls over the past year or more from members of the public asking for an institute handling mental health! I don't know if there's a fault in the line but when I called the institute in question, they suggest I contact VM and ask to get my number changed. If someone could help me that would be great. I tried calling the 150 from my landline but the options aren't very helpful or relevant. Thank you. Re: Engineer didn't turn up! :o( It's all good now and thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I noticed the wi-fi connection started to stabilise after a couple of days. I've been keeping an eye and it's a lot more settle than it was. I've even got my TV channels back, the ones that were missing. I did rebook the engineer but then cancelled the booking as there was no need for him to come. Many thanks. Re: 360 upgrade - channel failed An engineer was meant to come to help me solve this problem on Saturday afternoon. He turned up 2 hours early and I wasn't around. I've rearranged for another engineer to come round next Saturday. Engineer didn't turn up! :o( Sorry but I have a complaint... I had an engineer booked yesterday (Sat 8th) between 4 and 7. I was out before hand and had a missed call from my neighbour at 2pm. When I called her back she said there was a VM engineer that turned up... 2 hours early! He told her he would return at around 4. I was annoyed he came early but didn't think anything too much of it as he said he was going to return a bit later. 4pm came and went and 7pm came and went, no engineer. I'm really cross with this as he was meant to fix missing TV channels on my newly 'upgraded' V360 box. I've had to rebook another engineer next Saturday (15th) same time. I tried to call 150 but couldn't get through to anyone. What is going on with Virgin Media!! I've also had a new router installed, hub 5. I've had internet teething problems since but I'm now thinking this could be an external problem. Unbelievable. 360 upgrade - channel failed Hi all, sorry I couldn't find a suitable thread for my problem. I've just upgraded from the V6 to the V360. I'm trying to now tune into MTV and it keeps coming up with the attached. I've rebooted as well. All other channels, so far are alright. Any suggestions anyone? Re: v360 upgrade failed My new V360 remote arrived on Thursday 27th. Excited to get the new V360 package up and running, I followed the instructions on the telly. The upgrade appeared to fail, however, when I turned the telly on after rebooting a couple of times, it had upgraded after all. I then assumed the new V360 remote paired up automatically... it doesn't! So, I called 150 and the lady tried to help me and told me to press two buttons on the remote. I tried and it still didn't work but this was because I was pressing the wrong buttons, silly me. I then visited YouTube and the tutorial stated to press the '0' (zero) button and the small rectangular TV button on the right hand side of the home button simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds. It worked! Boom! I hope this helps others and BTW it's fun to use. Well Virgin Media, eat your heart out Sky! Re: Ordering a new remote A quick update. Thank you for your help @joseph_B My new remove came about a month or two ago and it worked very well so glad I ordered it. It's now not needed as I've upgraded my V6 box to V360 with the accompanying remote. What should I do with two old V6 remotes controls? Re: V360 Upgrade question I received one too the other day. My question is I still have recordings on my old V6 box (at least I think it's the model of the box). Do I need to watch all these recordings or can the upgrade take place and the recordings remain?
