Apps Won't Stay Logged In
Hey, My 360 box will not save any login credentials for apps like ITVX, BBC iPlayer etc... my elderly dad loves watching things on these apps, particularly ITVX, and now that he can't he finds it very frustrating as do I. I have tried various ways to resolve this including: Turning the box off at the wall waiting at least 30 seconds and then turning it back on again. Turning the box off at the back, pressing the minus and plus keys separately and both together whilst turning the box back on again. Trying a factory reset. The box is never switched off or left on standby either, so this is not the issue. When I try the minus and plus keys methods then a download arrow icon is displayed and it appears to be downloading an update but with no installation bar at the bottom. When I try a factory reset the same arrow is displayed but this time an installation bar appears with a message to wait for installation to finish. However when the box finishes and I press the home button on the remote and I check settings it appears that no update firmware has been installed, it is always showing version 5.16. Regardless, nothing works and after signing into these apps it won't stay logged in for very long and I have to keep signing in all the time which I can't keep doing. I firmly believe that the box needs replacing or an engineer needs to come up and take a look for us to try and resolve the issue. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.16Views0likes0CommentsStream box apps are incredibly slow
I've got 2 brand new stream boxes (Flex), one upstairs and one downstairs. Regular TV seems to work fairly well but the apps are so sluggish, it feels like the boxes are severely underpowered. Netflix especially is almost unbearable - scrolling up and down in the menu is so slow, starting a programme can take up to 30 seconds and it often takes a while for any subtitles to display. Once a programme starts playing and has buffered it works fine, but everything else is a truly miserable experience. Surely for a fairly new paid service it should work much better than this? Even the smart TV apps on my 6 year old TV aren't as painful to use as this. I am going to have to revert to using a Chromecast for apps I think because I have pretty much given up on the stream boxes now for anything other than live TV.128Views0likes3CommentsNetflix App won’t load
The Netflix app has stopped working on my box. The other apps still load okay but Netflix brings up the ‘N’ logo with the loading circle and then it won’t go any further. I can use Netflix on the TV upstairs so it’s not a Netflix or broadband issue. It just seems to be Netflix on the V6 box. I could try rebooting the box which has fixed app issues before but has also wiped my recordings at the same time so trying to keep that as a last resort.23KViews1like27CommentsCan I organise my apps?
When I access the apps, they are not organised in a way convenient for me. I want rapid access to BBC Sounds, but have to get past a number of apps I will never use. Then, having clicked on BBC Sounds, I want Radio 3, but have to move past Radios 1 (of which there are many), then Radios 2. I would like BBC Sounds and then Radio 3 to be on the left of the screen. Is there a way of doing this? thanks!Solved1.6KViews0likes5CommentsError Message CS2401 appears when trying to load Apps
When trying to watch ITVX, Amazon Prime etc a message appears on the TV screen stating App store unavailable CS2401. I have switched the power supply off, checked cables etc but to no avail. Any advice appreciated, thank you 😊.Solved8.7KViews0likes2Comments
