Can't see subtitles when fast forwarding
Firstly its now vastly more difficult to activate subtitles, but also when I fast forward, subtitles dissappear, making it very difficult to resume watching in the correct place. Has anyone got a work around for this? Some wonderful member posting on the Virgin Media message board helped me regain France 24 in French when the channel 832 was discontinued. (It meant pressing the red button on the remote, then the OK button and downward buttons to get a full screen.) I have just been 'upgraded' to the 360 system and have lost France 24 in French, which was one of the main reasons I kept Virgin Media as my internet provider. Has anyone managed to get France 24 in French yet? It seems so strange as there are Arabic stations in Arabic but France 24 is only in English? I would be immensely grateful for any help with this - emotive reason. I recently became a grandmother to a half-French grandson, and my daughter and her husband are determined that the baby should be bilingual - so grandmother must keep up her French! So I have used the 360 box for years with no problems, but in the past month all of my recordings and planned recordings have disappeared twice. The apps stopped working too. An engineer came last week for an outage and afterwards I had to log back into all apps. Despite that, the issue with recordings disappearing has happened again. As I suffer from chronic pain especially in my hands it is very frustrating to say the least. This never happened with my TiVo box in years, and it had not happened at all since moving to the 360 until last month. The service now feels very unreliable. For the last couple of weeks my wifi has been shocking, never an issue over the last couple of years. The. The last two days I’ve had issues with recordings on my box, I could watch TV and use apps fine. The problem was purely when I tried to watch a recording, I was getting an error message saying if it continued try switching it off and checking the leads. I’ve now done as it suggested and I have a solid amber light on the box and can’t use it at all. Excellent. Any ideas? Screaming hasn’t worked.29Views0likes3CommentsPaused TV skipping back
Evening folks, I've seen a number of posts about this issue where during paused live TV, itll skip When i try to fast forward either by pressing the arrows and speeding it up or by doing the right button to skip 30 seconds, what happens is it'll skip back anything upto 10-15 minutes and will occasionally then jump forward to live TV and we'll lose the paused TV I've noticed this was becoming more of an issue over the past year so I've reported and eventually got an engineer to come out who gave me a brand new 360 box however, after a week or so, the issue is back and just as bad as before Could this be something to do with my line? Just received my 2 remotes. Already have 2 x V6 boxes. Understood that you can upgrade to 360 using the remotes but I cant find instructions for this. Also read that all recordings need to be deleted before the upgrade, is this true? Can anyone help me please? I received my 360 box and two remotes a couple of days ago. I disconnected my old Tivo box and replaced it with the the new 360 box. The television appears to work okay but I cant record any programmes. I keep getting a message stating 'Virgin TV1 is offline, or not connecting.Turn it on to check if your recording was succesfully schedulded'. I have tried a couple of Factory Resets without success. Received 360 remote 4 days ago. Current box is v6 Have spent hours searching tips etc & following online instructions including disconnecting v6 box, rebooting wifi etc etc and still no switch app on the apps page. All options I can see online are now exhausted. Spent 2 hours trying to speak to virgin customer services and continually placed in a doom loop of recorded messages then cut off. Hello all. I'm really frustrated. Equipment came 2 weeks ago, engineer was here 6 days ago, only WiFi working. TV 360 boxes did not work and were swopped out.
