Error CS2002
Well I "upgraded" to a 360 box and set up went fine. Except I couldn't access the channel 4 app for catch up and one or two other things were glitchy like it wouldn't pair with itv app either. So I thought I'd switch it off at the plug and see if that helped. It didn't and now I get error messages, this channel has failed, we can't show you this channel, check your cables etc. Checked cables, factory reset twice and I can't watch anything. Received 360 handset information sheet tells you what it does but doesn’t tell you how to make it work . Took me some time to work it out need to activate it through the 360 App an update leaflet with handset would be nice but I still don’t want it . 1 virgin handset turns on TV box and soundbar on but won’t turn soundbar off ! 2 won’t operate TV just virgin 3 TV remote operates TV only so now I need 3 three remotes to operate TV box and sound bar 360 handset won’t link with sound bar error CS9993. 4 search & record guide doesn’t show when show first broadcast 5 360 doesn’t show record live and streaming Option 6 need to now press button 6 times to get to recordings. 7cant record a show from start if the show has already started and I’m sure there will be other differences between the V6 handset and 360 that make 360 worse but I’m told my old V6 had old software that had to be updated At present I don’t like it145Views0likes4CommentsStream upgrade
I currently have three TV360 boxes and spoke to customer service today enquiring about upgrading to stream. They advised me that an activation fee of £35 (self install) would apply and I could only have two stream boxes and would need to keep one TV360 box as the master. Is this correct? I was under the impression I could have up to six stream boxes. I have not heard of the rule that it’s required to keep one TV360 box as the main/master box.117Views0likes3CommentsTV360 Upgrade
Hi, I recently received my new TV360 remote controls in order to upgrade my old TiVo boxes to TV360 software. However, the update message has disappeared from my settings and my apps and help are all greyed out so I can’t update. When I called about this asking if the upgrade message could be resent, I was told I would need to have an engineer out to swap boxes. However, I thought the whole point of having the new remotes sent out was so that this was just a software update I could manage myself. My V360 box worked properly for a couple of months but now has no lights. Everything works... that is to say I can watch TV and record shows, etc... but the lights don't work at all. I have tried to reset it, and unplug it for 10mins, usually the power light starts to work, but then after 5mins the lights all disappear again and remain off.254Views0likes19CommentsPaused TV skipping back
Evening folks, I've seen a number of posts about this issue where during paused live TV, itll skip When i try to fast forward either by pressing the arrows and speeding it up or by doing the right button to skip 30 seconds, what happens is it'll skip back anything upto 10-15 minutes and will occasionally then jump forward to live TV and we'll lose the paused TV I've noticed this was becoming more of an issue over the past year so I've reported and eventually got an engineer to come out who gave me a brand new 360 box however, after a week or so, the issue is back and just as bad as before Could this be something to do with my line? Just started using the Virgin 360 this week and am having serious issues around the audio connections. We have an LG 5.1 surround sound system that used to work perfectly prior to have the 360 handset in that when we started the TV and the Virgin box the surround sound box detected that we had turned everything on, started up & went straight to ARC. Now with the 360 system the TV & the Virgin box start up and the surround sound system start and goes to Optical (with no audio output), bear in mind I have made no alterations other than installing the new 360 system. I shouldn't have to go through all this when my system worked perfectly prior to installing 360!!! When I look at my audio output on the TV it shows ARC but the front of the surround sound box shows Optical; this didn't occur prior to having 360. I then have to go to the sound output setting on my TV to swap back to Internal Speakers then back to ARC before I get my surround sound back again; I have to do this every time I start the Virgin 360 system up and am not impressed as with our previous handset all worked as it should. I went into Audio Settings in the 360 and changed to PCM 5.1 (HDMI only) but that hasn't helped. Do you know how to solve my problem and if it can't be solved can I go back to the previous Virgin 'setup' and use our old handset as I'm not impressed with the 360 system. Hi whenever I pause live TV on my TV360 box, when I start to play it again, if I fast forward the recording, it will jump back to the point at which I changed to the channel. It also does the same this on occasions when you try to rewind live TV. So if you pause TV for 20 minutes but have been watching the channel for an hour, the box will jump back an hour and you end up having to wind this through to get back to the point you paused at. It will also do the same if you start watching for say 15 minutes then try to fast forward again. It will jump back 1 hour 15 minutes. I have already had the box replaced 3 times, as each time the engineer says its a hard disk problem, so I am loath to contact VM again as each time i lose all my recordings and series links. Surely this must be something others are seeing and not just isolated to me?94Views0likes3CommentsCan't see subtitles when fast forwarding
Firstly its now vastly more difficult to activate subtitles, but also when I fast forward, subtitles dissappear, making it very difficult to resume watching in the correct place. Has anyone got a work around for this? Its feels like accessibility requirements have been deprioritised significantly in product development.114Views0likes5Comments
