VM offered free Netflix, now asking for Payment Method

I recently renewed my Virgin Media bundle after receiving persistent calls from their team, urging me to renew—sometimes three to four times a day. Eventually, I agreed, as the package offered good value, which included a complimentary Netflix subscription with ads. 

However, I've encountered a problem: Netflix has suspended my account due to a lack of a payment method. I have already contacted Virgin customer service twice, and both times I was assured that the issue would be resolved within 24 to 48 hours, but unfortunately, nothing has changed. 

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter, as I am unable to access Netflix with ads. Thank you.

    Sorry to hear you're having an issue with Netflix.
    I'd like to investigate this for you.

  • Hi , sorry to jump in but I am having the same issue . I had a package upgrade with free Netflix with Ads but Netflix is requiring me to add payment info ?

      Hi Arkiru thanks for your reply on this thread, apologies you're facing issues with Netflix.

      Has this message come through immediately, or has this been after a little while having the free Netflix? 

      Additionally, have you crossed the threshold of registered devices to go into Premium Netflix perhaps?

    Netflix  requested for a payment info after about a month into the free Netflix . 
    At first , I was thinking if I did cross the threshold of the registered number . If I just remove the amount of registered devices will that be okay?

      Thank you for reaching back out.

      We would advise to remove some of the accounts which aren't being used this would help as it is limited before the charge gets added.

        Hi Matthew, 

        I removed some of the accounts but now I can’t seem to log in. I hope that fixes it.
