Charge for 360 box

Hi Noticed this subject has been discussed previously and wondered if any one had a solution .

I've just renewed my contract and I extra devices there is listed a 360 box with a charge of £5. Per month.  I only have the one 360 box no other box. So realistically for the previous 18 month contract I've paid £5 per month and this is now on my new contract.

Any help before I attempt to phone them.

Thank you

Val

I fail to see how this is helpful as the OP does not have a rolling 30-day contract like Flex.

Without seeing a screenshot of your actual bill, it's unlikely to genuinely be the case.

VM operate a multi-buy discounting system whereby you pay for a bundle of services, and individual components are listed but not charged individually. Feel free to post up a screenshot or photo of your bill (with personal details removed) if this is not the case.

Assuming an overcharge has occurred, then the onus is as much on the customer to notice the issue as it is for VM to correct it - so it would be reasonable for you to account for not having checked your bills for 18months. Another major telecoms provider I deal with regularly, generally offers 3months rebate in similar circumstances, unless very good reason can be given for not spotting an error sooner.

There have been a couple of recent posts relating to a £5 charge showing on the billing under extra devices for a 360 box where the OP only has one box  <here> and <Here>

It would be good to see another comment from VM confirming whether the charge is correct as indicated by Gareth < in this reply>

"This £5 charge for the 360 Box is correct. We've just used a different way of showing the charges."
