Skip forward to a time?

Hi,

If I've recorded a long film and while I've started watching it I want to skip to later on in the movie, can I instantly skip to a certain time in the time line without fast forwarding it?

For example, I recorded X-Men and it's about 2hrs 45 mins long. I'd watched 2hrs and had to stop. When I came back I did something wrong and it started from the beginning again, so instead of fast forwarding 2hrs which would take about 5 minutes I wanted to go directly to 2hrs into the film. How do I do that, if I can?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Skip forward to a time?

Press ff once and then press the skip button, this will jump you to the next white bar, in the case of that film it will probably be 30 minute intervals so ff skip skip skip skip

Re: Skip forward to a time?

Just tried your answer and it was spot on. Thought I'd tried every combination of buttons to do it. Brill. Thanks 👍👍👍.
