We are trying to upgrade our old box to the new v6 box . Does it matter that the box ID numbers given to us online don't match the numbers on our boxes?

To make sure everything goes through correctly I'd recommend giving our customer care team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone and they can check this for you.
