I am in the Portsmouth area and Friday 13 January evening, I have no picture but I have sound on my TiVo V6 box.
I have unplugged and restarted it several times with no improvement.
I have called Virgin Media twice. And twice, they hung up on me after 20 minutes whilst in the queue!
Interestingly enough, my TiVo box in the other room works perfectly.
Has someone had the same issue? And how was it fixed?

Have you tried a different HDMI lead?
Yes. But still no picture.
I switched the V6 box off at around 22:30 Friday evening as I was going nowhere.
this morning, Saturday 14 January, it is working properly, again.
it would have good of Virgin Media to issue a message, be an e-mail, be a message on the box, to tell us about this issue and that they were on the case.

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues you have been having with the V6.
Since posting how have things been?
Has it only been this case to report or has this happened to you a few times?
Come back and let me know as if continually happening we can look in to this further for you.

I have had this problem twice today and I have found the picture restores after a complete reboot, not a great start as I only replaced my old Tivo box with it Friday gone!!
New remote being sent out as well as the volume button is sticking.
Currently on the telephone to Virgin I have now been transferred to the correct team 3 times!!!!
Ha ha make that 4 now!!
Thanks for your post and apologies to hear that you're road hasn't been as smooth as we'd like
I'm glad we've got someone coming out to help resolve things. Pop back here and let us know how it goes.
If you have any further issues, pop back and let us know.
So the engineer has been and while he was here the tv lost its picture so he saw the problem for himself.
One of the leads installed by the previous Engineer was poorly fitted so he re did this but the picture went again.
He has changed the HDMI lead to see if that was the problem.
And that is where we are at for now we'll see how things progress.
Top fellow great attitude very helpful engineer.
