Multiple V6's?

How many V6's can I have?  Do they all need to be connected with a separate Virgin cable or will they work fully with an Ethernet or WiFi connection.  I'm thinking of having three.  I have two cable connection points with V+ boxes at present but it will be inconvenient to have to wire the third.  Advice appreciated.

Re: Multiple V6's?

You can have a maximum of three, they all need a virgin coaxel and an Ethernet connection this can be power line wifi or cabled

Are you sure about that? I have 2 V6s and 2 Tivos, but the maximum number of boxes used to be 5. Why would they limit V6 to 3?

Re: Multiple V6's?

Perhaps to ensure that someone on the minimum 100Mb broadband still has some broadband capacity left if all V6s on the account are streaming 4K at the same time.

If that is the case then they will still have to give out Tivos as I am sure there are many, like me, that want more than 3 boxes.. and going forward I can't see them doing that.

Re: Multiple V6's?

Thank you.  I'll ring them to check how many I can have but the need for cabling might mean I have to look towards Sky Q.
