no dialling tone cant receive or make calls, help

Hi Michael,

Have you already checked your phone cabling and if possible tried another handset to make sure the phone itself isn't at fault ?

I'm in exactly the same position! I only realised when my sister had been trying to get hold of me,think the phone has not been working for nearly a week.I've done the test but stops at 99% complete,what's that about!! Tried to do a"chat" but can't as all agents are busy! I need help too!

Maybe there is a known issue in your area ?

Have you checked the 'View Your Service Status' link after logging into your My Virgin Media account ? - Does everything show as 'No known issues' ?

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.

 

I've run a diagnostic on your landline and I can't see any network issues in your area at the moment. Are you able to try another handset in the socket? This test rules out the equipment as the cause of the fault.
