Call Blocker Device blocking outbound calls ?

I have recently installed a CPR Callblocker (V202) Device that sits between my BT Studio Plus phone and the wall socket.

Everything works fine for inbound calls and the Virgin Caller ID service but I can't call out from the phone. I get no dialling tone when I pick it up and if I dial a number then I just get a continuous tone.

If I disconnect the CPR Call Blocker then I can call out just fine.

What am I doing wrong, if anything ?

I have  v.202 which doesn't connect the first time but if you immediately disconnect and then pick up again you should get dial tone. This will happen on every call

Re: Call Blocker Device blocking outbound calls ?

Turns out that this top selling call blocker only works to standard with certain phones ...... but not my BT Studio Plus.

With those that don't work - ie; no outbound calls or tone - you need to run two cables from your wall socket via a splitter, connecting one to the phone and one to the device.

That enables you to block incoming calls but it does mean you can't pre-program the device from your phone.
