not able to email with mobile data

Hi All,

 

I have changed to a virgin rolling contract from sainsburys, I have an iphone 5 and I can send emails and receive them with wi fi but I cannot send when using mobile data, I spent 1 and a 1/2 hours on the phone to customer services on Tuesday and the two guys I spoke to left me without any email what so ever, I have managed to get my email working again with wi fi but still not working on mobile data, I went into the shop and they said nothing they could do! is there any hope I can use email via mobile data or am I wasting my time?

Wayhey!!!

 

All sorted thank you what  two virgin customer service guys couldn't do and the shop said they couldn't do anything about,

well my 12 year old Daughter could.

Sorry to hear your having problems with your data

Does your normal internet work. i.e browsing or is it just emails that don't work?

Thanks for the reply, yes I can get browsing but cannot send or receive emails whilst using mobile data.
